The Kitchen Stories Cookbook
If you’re looking for inspiration for quick, versatile dinners during the week, this is the cookbook for you. Whether it's a grilled take on chicken piccata, satisfying spinach and black bean quesadillas, or super simple 5-ingredient dinners, our recipes set any level of home cook up for success thanks to step-by-step instructions, photos, and illustrated guides.
Our first cookbook was released internationally in March 2021 in cooperation with Prestel and contains some of the most popular recipes from our app, plus plenty of exciting new creations. We’ve also dedicated a chapter to the foundations of cooking with tips that will guarantee you have all the know-how needed to succeed, because after all: Anyone can cook—you just have to know how.
What's Inside
Our favourite recipes for every day.
We’ve dedicated the book to the one meal that often challenges us most. Even for us as chefs and food editors, dinner can be tough with so many criteria at play. We look for speed and simplicity, but also want to maximize flavor and keep things interesting. That’s why not a single recipe in our cookbook takes longer than 60 minutes from start to finish—including cooking and baking time. As those familiar with our app know and love, all of our recipes feature step-by-step photos, making them even more foolproof.
In total, Anyone Can Cook features six chapters covering basic techniques for you to practice and perfect, our list of important utensils and ingredients every kitchen needs, and 70 inspiring and approachable recipes for your dinner table.
Our recipes are divided into the following chapters:
Soups & Salads, Vegetarian & Vegan, Pasta & Noodles, Meaty Mains, Out of the Oven
